In New Zealand, the National Library developed a four-year plan to move analog processes into the digi-tal world in order to increase accessibility. In order to be able to cultivate the land, it was divided into smaller, independent Allmend corporations formed by local families. The families were given the right to farm the allotted lands and forests. In return, participants were obligated to assume responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the exchanged object or service.

Vapepa is a network of volunteers who in special situations are called upon to support the Finnish state rescue services. This is particularly important when people go missing, but also for evacuations and psychological support. The project brings together approximately 10,000 people divided into over 1,000 teams to provide rapid support throughout the country.
